Key (she/they) became a Jets fan in 2018 after passing by a Whiteout Party downtown on the day the Jets won Game 1 of the Western Conference Final, and she’s been chasing that high ever since. Now, they’re addicted to collecting hockey cards, consuming hockey content daily, and cheering on the Victoire while waiting for PWHL Winnipeg to finally arrive!
Key hopes to foster a safe, inclusive, and accessible space where people can play hockey, whether they’ve played all their lives or are trying it out for the first time. Despite what the NHL may lead you to believe, hockey IS for everyone!
Brie Villeneuve

Brie (they/them) became a hockey fan in 2023 after attending a Manitoba Moose game and thinking, “I don’t understand what’s happening but this is fun!” Soon after attending a Winnipeg Ice game and a Winnipeg Jets Pride game, becoming a hardcore fan was inevitable.
Learning to love the game has also come with many frustrations about hockey’s culture and the lack of respect towards 2SLGBTQ+ players and fans. Brie is excited to use their queer advocacy experience towards developing an inclusive space for hockey, even though they’ve never laced up their own skates (yet).
